Caroline Broadhead
'Hollow Stripe Chain'

Meditative movements are cycled into the making of this beaded necklace, a testament to the power of cohesive action. Consisting of thousands of vibrant glass beads, the artist patiently threads them together using the ancient peyote stitch technique. The piece includes joinery that allows perpendicular interactions with the body, blurring the boundaries between inner and outer realities.
