Marie-Isabelle Poirier Troyano
'Feelings'

Born from a feeling of elation, this vibrant sculpture is woven with intuitive aplomb, using Japanese shibori dye-resistant techniques such as ori nui and mokume and with pictorial references in its use of colour. Emotive and celebratory, it is encoded with a profound belief that strength is found through unity, with nature leading the way.
